Recognised worldwide as Australia’s premiere female Turntablist, DJ D is a true veteran to the art of DJing and turntablism. With her reputable career as a DJ/Turntablist since 1998, DJ D played her first gig in 1988. Her list of titles and achievements seem never-ending, and DJ D has been heavily featured throughout international media since the early 2000’s.

Today DJ D is still respected not only for her track selection but also for her skills on the 1s and 2s. Even well after a decade, DJ D remains at the forefront of her scene being remembered as one of the first females to cut it up with the big guns of this industry. A Mixtape Tribute to JOYCE SIMS | Free-Style Funk to House

A tribute to 1980’s R&B singer JOYCE SIMS who sadly passed away last month aged 63. This homage is a hand-picked collection of classic jams from one of the finest voices of 1980’s R&B, freestyle, soul.

Joyce is most well known for her single Come Into My Life, which reached the top 10 in the US Billboard R&B Chart, and UK Singles Chart in 1987.

She went onto release several more tracks in the following years, such as Lifetime Love, Walk Away and Looking For a Love.
