PHIL TOKE | SOUL OF SYDNEY @ SYDNEY FESTIVAL feat. OYOBI | SOS430
Fairouz to funk, soul to hip hop goodness, this is Phil Toke opening up the Soul of Sydney stage at Sydney Festival earlier this year, warming up the dancefloor for our good friends OYOBI.
Recorded live at the Moonshine Bar, Walsh Bay, this set kicks off with a heartfelt nod to our Lebanese roots, before slowly building the groove with rare soul, funk-edged rhythms, and a touch of hip hop to get the floor moving.
Phil has been guiding the Soul of Sydney sound since day one, always weaving together music that connects community, culture, and the dancefloor. This one is a perfect snapshot of that vibe.

Big love to everyone who joined us under the stars at the harbour, and of course to OYOBI who followed up with a live set that took things to another level.
