Some people you meet through music just keep popping up in different corners of Sydney’s creative scene. Andrew Bukenya is one of those people. For more than 15 years, Andrew has been an integral part of the SOUL OF SYDNEY family, hosting our SUNDAY SANCTUARY sessions and bringing his energy, musicianship and love of music to so many of our events.

Away from the house scene, Andrew is also a phenomenal singer, artist, performer and storyteller & he’s now bringing another side of his musical world to the Sydney Fringe Festival with COPA ON THE ROCKS.

Think old-school New York supper club, piano bar and cabaret, reimagined in a heritage space in The Rocks. Inspired by the legendary Copacabana, the show pays homage to the golden era of New York supper clubs, with the music, glamour and characters of an era that gave us everyone from Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. to The Supremes and Stevie Wonder.

Part piano bar, part cabaret, part singalong and 100% Andrew.

Expect live music, stories, personality, food, drinks and an intimate atmosphere where you’re not just watching the show — you’re part of it.
