Summer isn’t over just yet — and this Wednesday night, Coogee Beach is turning up the heat with Coogee Nights, a brand-new series of free, family-friendly street parties celebrating music, community, and coastal vibes!
This week, we’re thrilled to see our good friends ALMA TO SOUL bringing their signature blend of Brazilian funk, roots, soul, reggae, and live dance energy back to the streets of Coogee! If you caught them earlier this year, you already know the vibe – deep rhythms, big smiles, and an irresistible groove that gets everyone moving.
Joining them across the night will be a stacked lineup including Lady Chika, Calle Swing, Rhythm Brazil, Selecta Orchestra, and Lucerito Leon – plus plenty of family fun, food, and colour. Expect the full carnival treatment right by the beach, with samba drumming, dance demos, and a silent disco!

This is the first of four epic Coogee Nights happening across March and April (4 & 18 March, 1 & 15 April) — a collaboration between Randwick City Council and the NSW Government to bring live music, dining, and play to the heart of the Eastern Beaches.
Bring your friends, your kids, or just your dancing shoes — it’s free, open-air, and pure good vibes. Catch the sunset, grab a bite, and get down with ALMA TO SOUL and the crew as we bring a touch of Brazilian sunshine to Sydney’s midweek.
