We’ve been in music for a while now, and now and then, a moment pops up that reminds us exactly why we started this journey. We just caught an incredible reel from Billie Jean (BJTA)—one of the creative souls who used to bless our early Soul of Sydney jams with his magic when we were all still young, hungry, and figuring things out. Back then, it was all love, no ego—just the pure joy of creating together.
Billie just gave us a little shoutout while talking about his powerful new project: Lyrics in Layers—and it’s a beautiful full-circle moment. Billie is the real deal—a true creative don. Everything he touches, he elevates. We first connected back in the early days, when he was a known dancer in the scene, already making waves with custom fashion pieces for friends. He started doing live art alongside DJs at our street jams and market events, vibing in dusty venues and hidden Sydney laneways.
Fast forward to now, and he’s sharing his art, design, music, and fashion with the world. Billie has grown into a global creative force, pushing boundaries in custom fashion, murals, design, and music—always staying true to his roots and vision.
It’s been inspiring to watch his journey—from dancer to designer, muralist to musician. And most importantly, he’s always been about the culture, the connection, and the community.
We’re celebrating where he’s come from, how far he’s taken his vision, and everything still to come.
Because that’s what it’s all about—supporting one another, lifting each other up, and building a culture where art and music can thrive. Watching our creative family grow, evolve, and inspire the next wave.
