Sydney Music: JAH TUNG – QUEEN ALPHA [2022] Reggae & Roots Vibrations

Back in 2009 we connected with JAH TUNG when we were putting together a mixtape with Sydney-based music, he sent us some music he was working on which we have had on heavy rotation since. We connected again a few years later at gigs & slowly watched him grow in his craft as a musician & artist making dope home-grown Reggae & Roots music like this release from 2019 ‘QUEEN ALPHA’.

The release performed by Jah Tung with backing vocals from Yasmin Forester Everyday Riddim is a musical homage to a connection with a rare and righteous, Ethiopian Empress.

After many interruptions over the last few years, filming for this storyboard video was delayed and reformatted until finally, we are excited to bring you this charming video to compliment the classic song and to pay tribute and respect to the beauteous Ethiopian cultures, traditions and peoples. Sending love and light to all the Ethiopian community worldwide, now and always. Unity is strength! Gratitude to all those who helped this track and video off the ground!
