That was one hell of a show on NYD. It is such an inspiration seeing you all come together unite, dance and celebrate 2015 as one extended funky family.

Sending a massive THANK YOU to DJ’s, Dancers and Funk Fans who turned out to help make SOUL OF SYDNEY NYD SPECIAL such a memorable jam. We are honestly so blessed to call many of your friends and it is such a rewarding thing seeing you all enjoy the day.

Happy New Year & Thank you all for keeping the faith in us and our party ideas and giving us so much love and support. That was officially the biggest SOUL OF SYDNEY jam we have ever put our name to and a perfect start to 2015.

We had the chance to book a 5 or 6 international DJs who were offered for NYD and we said no to each one by one. We made a conscious effort from a couple of months ago to stick solid with our home grown DJ talent to showcase the real SOUL OF SYDNEY.

Sydney’s professional body movers at the top of their game whose musical ideals hard work and talent have been shaping a cities dance floors for years.
We wanted to cover some musical ground yesterday, from staple FUNK and SOUL, HIP HOP, GARAGE, DISCO, HOUSE and even NEW JACK SWING, 80’s FUNK, R&B & DANCEHALL vibes up stairs., we knew each going to bring their own brand of FEEL-GOOD party vibes.

What an absolute pleasure to sit back and witness SYDNEY FINEST who have probably never been on a bill together throwing it down in the biggest Soul of Sydney event we have ever put our name to.

Much respect lads, you really are the HEART & SOUL of SYDNEY and we thank you all for making us look so good.
