Before anyone asks – I, Ranon, have not been lurking in the African wilderness, playing an x-rated version of hide-and-seek with lions and giraffes lately. I have not been sipping Amarula cocktails while feasting on the beauty of topless native girls dancing Yankadi or Kpanlogo. I have not been bathing with 5 ton hippos after fighting 14 chimps over a bundle of bananas. I have not done that shit. But… After diving musically head-first into the soul, rhythm and essence of this vastly rich land… It kind of feels like I have. I hope you too will find the Africa that lies beneath. Enjoy.
