This week is the first anniversary of the late great Amy Winehouse and local Soul /Funk band Lo Five wrote it a little over 6 months before she died and the song turned out to be tragically prophetic.
The two piece soul / funk outfit are giving away a track here as memorial tribute to the passing of Amy Winehouse.
Their song “Heavenly Ho” was written in December 2010 as song of warning for Amy; an ode to her knife-edge genius that tragically turned out to be so prophetic.
Lo Five are given their funky foundation by the formidable creative combination of Alan Goodman and Tam Morris. Between them they have toured, remixed, written for, recorded or worked with the likes of The Sweet Inspirations, Jools Holland, Sly & Robbie, Olivia Newton John, Skunkhour, Alex Lloyd, Christine Anu and many more in between.
To commemorate the first anniversary of Amy’s passing you can grab the track for free now at lofive.bandcamp.com.

from?
Your website doesn’t display correctly on my iphone 4 – you may want to try and repair that
Music started playing any time I opened this web site, so annoying!
I believe one of your adverts triggered my internet browser to resize, you might want to put that on your blacklist.
I just added this site to my rss reader, great stuff. Can not get enough!
This will be a excellent web site, might you be involved in doing an interview about how you designed it? If so e-mail me!
Thanks, I’ve recently been hunting for details about this subject matter
for ages and yours is the best I have found so far.
