Re Miles Davis: the man was a genius. My favourite musician of the last century (i.e. of all time, by implication…) and the Isle of Wright concert is quite amazing. That whole period in ’69-71 is unbelievable: check out A Tribute to Jack Johnson for example… You should read his autobiography too, what a complex guy – a great read.
