Drawing musical influence from his childhood favourite artists like George Benson, A Tribe Called Quest, James Brown, Jodeci, De La SoulLou Rawls and Ray Barretto; DJ CMAN is today one of Sydney’s most versatile and in demand multi-genre groove selectors.

Combining  dynamic skills, music knowledge and technical ability which make him an instant crowd favourite, he blends the old and new, popular and obscure. Being the only son of an record shop owner, much of CMAN’s youth was spent listening to records in the family home garnering appreciation for fine music across many genres, in particular Soul, Jazz and Latin music. Throughout his teens he took a keen interest in Funk, R&B and Hip Hop. Today he enjoys fusing all these elements into his sets with a finely tuned ear, and the ability to seamlessly transition through genres taking party goers on a soulful journey from Funk to Bossa, Reggae to Disco, Hip Hop to Boogaloo, and all things  in between.
