After selling out the first screening, we’re thrilled to announce a second screening of this fantastic documentary about Stones Throw Records, direct from the filmmaker Jeff Broadway.

Don’t delay: $10 tickets from

This is the Sydney Premiere of this new documentary about one of our favourite, forward-thinking hip hop labels, tracing the label’s inception through to the latest crop of innovative artists. With some great early footage, label founder Peanut Butter Wolf takes viewers on a journey from his early years with Charizma, through to his own transfiguration into Folerio and the future of Stones Throw.

With a soundtrack by MADLIB, this full-length feature film draws on over 100 hours of footage from the filmmaker, alongside live concert footage, never-before-seen archival material, inner-circle home video and photographs, and in-depth interviews with the enigmatic artists who put Stones Throw on the map helping change the face of hip hop and in the process accumulating a global following.

Features: Peanut Butter Wolf, Madlib, J Dilla, J Rocc, MF DOOM, Mayer Hawthorne, Dam-Funk, Kanye West, Questlove, Talib Kweli, Common, Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Ariel Pink, Geoff Barrow, Flying Lotus, A-Trak, Ben Harper and more.

We expect this 2nd to sell-out quickly, so we’ve made the $10 tickets available beforehand on-line again. No booking fee, just an assurance you will have a seat.
