Soul of Sydney is an independent, artist run collective who are bonded by a love for ‘funk’ based music in all its forms (Soul, Disco, Hip Hop, House, Boogie, Afro-Beat)
Our 'soul-family' include DJ’s , Musicians, Producers, Dancers & Designers who have come together to promote and support the music we love in this city & the street culture around it.
We have been working to push local Soul & Funk based music through our social networks, podcasts, radio shows and online page & block party events at a grass roots level, while doing our best to support the local musicians, labels and events who are also doing a similar thing.
We have come together for a secret pop-up free, family friendly afternoon party called ‘Soul of Sydney Block Party ’ happening in parks, lane ways, rooftops, warehouses around town.
