On November 1st, SOUL ON 22 will be featuring live music, art from local artists and a southern style menu that will comfort your taste-buds and soothe your soul.

We are thrilled to have Sydney’s very own Yum Yum performing on 1st November 2015. The soul group is made up of vocalist Natalie Slade, producer Jayo Jamesand drummer Preston Peachey, who draw their influence from Jazz, Hip Hop, Delta Blues and Dub. Natalie’s jazzy, soulful vocals are tranquilizing and lyrics unforgettable. Her strong range is impressively paired with an eclectic fusion of Hip Hop, Soul, Funk and Electro music. Jayo has had a steady fed diet of soul and funk vinyl from a young age with a foundation influenced by the ideas and techniques of the great Dub engineers, and motivated by Hip Hop’s innovative and raw skills style.

Our special guest DJ Makoto will be spinning the most enticing selections of Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Latin & Jazz guaranteed to make you dance. Known as one of Sydney’s best Funk & Soul DJs, Makoto has shared the stage with Talib Kweli and DJ Muro, as well as touring Osaka with various Japanese funk bands. Makoto will be joined by our resident spinner, the one and only DJ CMAN. Cman’s unique sets and rare gems never disappoint!
Soul on 22 will also be showcasing art by the talented
