Sydney’s Oldest Funk Radio Show ‘Back To Funk’ on 2ser now pod-casting 24/7

Good News, our good friend and regular Soul of Sydney guest selector MEEM is now podcasting his radio show Back of Funk, which just happens to be Sydney’s longest running funk radio shows.

This is some great news for Sydney’s funk scene, the show just celebrated their 33rd birthday and was and still is one of the main radio shows that we tune into regularly to be schooled on all things funky.

about Back to Funk Radio
Broadcasting since 1980, BACK TO FUNK is Australias longest running funk music radio show. Not only has the show been a long-time fixture on Sydneys airwaves, but over the years fans have also been treated to rare interviews with funk heavyweights such as George Clinton, Kool Bell (Kool & the Gang), Charlie Wilson (Gap Band), Fred Wesley and members of James Brown’s Band, Todd Terje, Mr Scruff, Jamie Liddell, and Lance Ferguson from The Bamboos.

Tune in every Monday for interviews, new releases, and a huge array of forgotten funky masterpieces.
