D’ANGELO, COMMON TO SPEARHEAD NEW NEO-SOUL FESTIVAL IN AUSTRALIA
14 March, 2014
D’Angelo, Common, Aloe Blacc and Mos Def are rumoured to be part of a new neo-soul festival bill that will tour Australia’s east coast this October.
Un-verified artwork of a festival called SoulFest appeared on soul singerAnthony Hamilton’s Facebook yesterday, before being swiftly removed. According to the artwork – which theMusic.com.au understands may be out of date – Maxwell was also listed as a headliner with Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild and Leela James.
While the festival has no online presence yet a number of questions have been raised by fans excited at the prospect of the tour, which according to the un-verified artwork has dates in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
We just found this online at themusic.com.au regarding the SOULFEST flyer that was posted last night, still not sure if it is going ahead but we will keen an ear to the ground and keep everyone updated
