Proudly Pushin' 'THE FUNK' in all its forms| Funk Soul Disco Hip Hop House Afro-Beat Afro Funk Latin Jazz Deep Soulful House | MIXTAPES | WAREHOUSE PARTIES | BLOCK PARTIES | BBOY / BBGIRL JAMS & Scene Info
In what was a special day, Our House Sydney teamed up with good friends Soul Of Sydney to bring its first installment of the “Spirit Of House”Block Parties. These parties allow us to pay special tribute to REAL House music and its Funk & Disco roots in FREE family friendly & PEOPLE FRIENDLY out-door location including car parks, lane-ways, parks, roof-tops and warehouse spaces around town.
The Venue: As you can see in the picture, we didn’t end up in the park for the House Picnic as we originally intended due to some ominous clouds and some pretty temperamental Sydney weather. We did however set up our Sound in this dope inner-city Car Park location smack bang between a Chinese Temple and 3 buildings for a proper Block Party.
Big luv to everyone who came down and especially and was part of the fun, check out this killer 4 hour mix from CO-OP’s James Scott who battled put on an absolute house music lesson in every sense of the word.
