I happened to hear this cut from The Players Associate in a podcast & recognized the sample from an electronic release I used to dig back in high School. Pretty craft sampling from Carl Cox, building a completely new and original sounding club stomper out of a record he would have heard as a young dancer in the 70′s.
We are back for our winter Block-Party edition out of the Park & into a warmer indoor / outdoor courtyard & laneway for an afternoon of usual ‘feel-good’ funk vibes, but this time with a BBQ set up for anyone to use & special a LIVE STREET ART showcase as part of ‘Sydney Street Art Project’.

SYDNEY STREET ART PROJECTLIVE SHOWCASE
We are also delighted to be able to featuring a live art showcase from two local artist who will be taking over the walls for a special live showcase as part of the Sydney Street Art Project launched a couple of weeks ago.
LOCATION: Inner-city indoor / outdoor courtyard 1 min from central station in Redfern/Chippendale area (email soulofsydney@gmail.com for details) PLEASE NOTE: We will be in a licence venue so please (NO BYO) for this one, Still family friendly so kids who dig funk are more welcomed for soul Soul Pre-School & there will be a BBQ set up if anyone wants to bring something to cook etc.
An audio visual collaboration between Kit Complete (Sydney hip hop producer) and 2Rise (Wandering graffiti artist). Kit Complete is one quarter of Reverse Polarities and often works with other acts on the same record label, Big Village.
